This is the central cross-connect backbone in a telecom room. It supports terminal blocks for central cross connects, with 9 verticals and 13 shelves to mount block fields and route jumpers between them. Double sided means blocks mount on both faces, roughly doubling the block capacity in the same floor footprint, which is why it is used where all building cabling terminates in one place rather than in a per-floor closet.

Different jobs. This B-Line frame is built for wire termination, not gear: verticals and shelves carry terminal block fields and jumper runs for central cross connects. It has no 19 inch EIA mounting rails for switches, patch panels or rack-mount servers. If you are mounting active equipment, use a relay rack or enclosure. Use a distribution frame when you are terminating and cross-connecting large copper block fields in one room.

The configuration is 9 verticals with 13 shelves as supplied, so the shelf count is part of the model rather than a separate line item. Terminal blocks, jumper troughs and any floor anchorage hardware are specified to the job and are not part of the frame configuration described here.

Steel construction, ASTM A36 structural steel, finished in Telco gray powder coat. Powder coat over structural steel is a dry-interior finish, which suits a conditioned telecom or equipment room. It is not a galvanized or stainless assembly, so avoid damp, washdown or exterior locations where the coating will be attacked at cut edges and fastener points.
