2) Is the BLGSF20 a fan or just the grill?
It is the grill only, part of Eaton's B-Line enclosure climate control line. There is no motor or blower in it. If you need forced air you order the fan package separately and use this as the matching exhaust or intake grill on the opposite side of the enclosure.
3) Can I use the BLGSF20 8 inch grill on a NEMA 4 or 4X washdown enclosure?
No. This grill is rated NEMA 12, which covers dust and dripping liquids in indoor industrial spaces. It will not hold a NEMA 4 or 4X hosedown or corrosion rating. For washdown or outdoor cabinets, specify a climate control package rated for that enclosure type instead.
4) Does the BLGSF20 grill come with a filter?
The BLGSF20 is catalogued as the grill itself with no filter media stated as included. If your application needs filtration, order the filter element for the 8 inch NEMA 12 grill along with it.
