B-LINE ES-90RMA-L – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What size enclosure do the ES-90RMA-L mounting angles suit?
They are sized for a 90 inch tall free standing enclosure. The published figures are 90 in height with 78.75 in length/depth and 78.75 in width, so measure the frame opening of your cabinet against those before ordering. Shorter enclosures take a different angle length.
2) Are the ES-90RMA-L angles rated for a washdown or wet location enclosure?
The ES-90RMA-L accessory carries a NEMA 4 degree of protection rating and is UL Listed. NEMA 4 covers hosedown and windblown water, so it suits accessories going into a NEMA 4 free standing cabinet in a wet or washdown plant area rather than a dry indoor-only NEMA 1 install.
3) What are the Eaton B-Line ES-90RMA-L rack mounting angles used for?
They are L shaped rack mounting angles for Eaton B-Line free standing enclosures. The angles bolt inside the enclosure frame to give you the vertical mounting rails that equipment panels and rack-mount gear fasten to, so you can populate a free standing cabinet without fabricating your own supports. Model ES-90RMA-L, zinc with a yellow zinc finish.
4) Does ordering ES-90RMA-L include the enclosure or cooling equipment?
No. ES-90RMA-L is a free standing enclosure accessory only, the L shaped rack mounting angles. The cabinet itself, plus any thermal management such as filter fans, is ordered separately.
5) Will yellow zinc mounting angles corrode inside an industrial enclosure?
The angles are zinc with a yellow zinc chromate finish, which is a corrosion resistant plating intended for indoor industrial and enclosed use. For continuous outdoor exposure or corrosive chemical atmospheres, stainless enclosure hardware is the usual specification instead.
6) How much do the ES-90RMA-L rack angles weigh for handling and shipping?
Published weight is 30 lb. That is a one-person lift but awkward at 90 inches long, so plan on two people to set them inside a standing cabinet and start the fasteners.
