Three phase. The U224 M11TB is a 7 jaw socket wired for 3-phase, 4-wire service at 200 A. A 7 jaw socket will not accept a single-phase 4 jaw or 5 jaw meter, so if the utility is setting a single-phase 120/240 V meter on this service you need a 4 jaw unit instead.
