It's a door kit, not a rack and not a cable manager. Specifically an RCM door kit for vertical cable managers, 78 inches tall and 10 inches wide, made of steel with a silver powder coat finish. It mounts onto the front of a vertical cable manager to hide and protect the cable bundles running up the side of an open frame rack. Mounting hardware is included in the box.

It is made for the B-Line SB860, SB862 and SB864 vertical cable managers. If your manager is one of those three and is a 78 inch height, model SB862HRD10078SL is the matching door. On any other manager series or a shorter manager height, this is the wrong part.

No separate hardware purchase. Mounting hardware ships with the kit. What is not included is the vertical cable manager itself or the open frame rack, those are ordered separately (SB860, SB862 or SB864 managers).

Open managers are fine in a locked, low-traffic room where nobody brushes the bundles. Add an RCM door kit when the racks sit in a shared space, when you want a clean front elevation for a client walkthrough, or when you need the cable bundles contained so patch changes don't spill into the aisle. The door hinges off the front of the manager, so you still get full access to the bundles when you swing it open.

The kit weighs 9.5 lb. It's a tall panel at 78 inches, so it's awkward rather than heavy, and a single tech can normally handle it, though a second set of hands helps while you line up the hinge points on the manager.

The door is finished in silver powder coat over steel, the same finish B-Line uses on its silver open frame racks and cable managers, so it reads consistent down a row of gear. Black-finished racks and managers will not match, look for the black version of the door instead.
