B-LINE SB8601012D096FB – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What cable managers does the Eaton B-Line SB8601012D096FB door kit fit?
This RCM vertical cable manager door kit is made for Eaton B-Line SB860 and SB864 series vertical cable managers. It is an add-on door, so you need the matching vertical manager itself in place for the kit to mount to.
2) Is the SB8601012D096FB kit the rack itself or just the doors?
Doors only. SB8601012D096FB is a door kit that closes off the front of an SB860 or SB864 series vertical cable manager. The open frame rack and the vertical manager are separate purchases.
3) Do I need to order anything else with this B-Line door kit to finish the job?
Yes. You select the appropriate vertical cable manager to go with it, from the SB860 or SB864 series, in the 12 inch width the doors are cut for. The doors do not manage cable on their own, they enclose the manager channel.
4) What material and finish is the B-Line RCM vertical cable manager door kit?
Aluminum with a flat black powder coat finish, which matches the standard flat black used across B-Line open frame rack and manager hardware so the doors blend with the rest of the row.
5) How heavy is this door kit, and is it a one-person install?
The kit weighs 77.8 lb as shipped, and it is full 90.125 inch height. Plan on two people to lift and hang the doors on a floor-standing manager, and handle it with a cart to the rack row.
