It is punched for #12-24 mounting hardware, which is the thread used on B-Line Eaton series open frame racks with tapped rails. If your rack rails are 10-32 tapped or square-hole with cage nuts, you will need the matching screws or clips for that rail, not #12-24.

Aluminum, in a brushed aluminum finish. That keeps it light, 4.25 lb for a 6U panel, and it is the finish that matches brushed aluminum B-Line open frame racks. If your rack is black powder coat, a brushed aluminum panel will not match visually.

The panel is specified for #12-24 mounting hardware, which describes the hole pattern and thread it mates to. Plan on sourcing #12-24 rack screws separately unless your rack shipped with a hardware bag, and count four per panel as the usual practice on a multi-U blank.

A blank panel closes unused rack space so nothing can be pushed in behind the rails, hides cabling and idle gear, and keeps the front of the rack looking finished in a lobby or shared telecom closet. On an open frame rack there is no airflow benefit the way there is in an enclosed cabinet, so the reason to fit one here is security, tidiness and appearance.
