B-Line Eaton series open racks, Aluminum, Flat black powder coat, Rack mounted horizontal transition trays for patchcords and jumpers

The SB813TP3FB is a horizontal transition tray that mounts in an open frame rack to carry patchcords and jumpers across between panels and equipment. It is a cable pathway accessory, not a shelf for equipment and not a patch panel, so it gives cords a supported route from vertical managers into the rack face.

Finish is flat black powder coat, the same finish B-Line uses on its black open frame rack line, so it blends with existing black racks and managers. Aluminum construction under the coating keeps the part at 2 lb, so it does not add meaningful load to the frame.

They do different jobs. A horizontal wire manager with fingers or a duct dresses and bundles cords down the rack face; a transition tray like the SB813TP3FB gives patchcords and jumpers a flat supported surface to cross over as they transition between rack sections. On a dense patch field most integrators use both, the manager for routing and the tray at the transition point.

No certification applies to this part. It is a passive aluminum cable transition tray with no electrical function, so there is no listing to reference on a submittal. Specify it by the manufacturer part number SB813TP3FB instead.

Aluminum, with a flat black powder coat. For a telecom or MDF room the practical upshot is weight, 2 lb per tray, so you can add several across a tall rack without loading the frame the way steel accessories would.
