B-Line Eaton series open racks, Aluminum uprights and steel extension brackets, Aluminum - brushed, 200 lb load capacity, #12-24 panel mounting holes

Rated at 200 lb load capacity. That covers patch panels, a small switch stack, and a UPS shelf, but it is a wall-mount frame, so the wall structure behind it matters as much as the rack rating. Fasten into studs or solid masonry, not drywall anchors alone.

Threads are #12-24, the older tapped-rail standard still common on telecom racks. No cage nuts needed, but you do need #12-24 rack screws, and equipment supplied with 10-32 or M6 hardware will not thread in. Check what screws came with your panels before install day.

An open frame like this B-Line wall rack gives you access from all sides, passive airflow, and the easiest cable management, which is why it is the usual pick inside a locked IDF or telecom room. Go with an enclosed, lockable cabinet instead when the rack sits in a corridor, classroom, retail back-of-house, or anywhere the public can reach it, or where dust and tampering are a concern. This one is a frame only, with no doors, sides, or lock.

The uprights are aluminum with a brushed aluminum finish, which holds up better than painted steel against humidity and condensation. Note the extension brackets are steel, so those are the parts to watch in a wet or coastal environment. For a genuinely wet location you want an enclosure rated for it rather than an open frame.

The Eaton B-Line SB704232530AL is a passive mechanical frame with no electrical components, so certifications are marked Not Applicable on its record. Any listing requirement in your submittal will attach to the powered gear you mount in it, such as the PDU or UPS, and to the bonding and grounding of the rack per your local electrical code.
