B-LINE SBSBE0613FB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Eaton B-Line SBSBE0613FB server boot used for on an open frame rack?
It is a server boot with extension rails for Eaton B-Line series open frame racks, ordered as model SBSBE0613FB. The extension rails give it a 13 inch extension length, so it supports equipment that sits deeper than the rack frame itself. Steel construction, flat black powder coat.
2) What are the dimensions of the SBSBE0613FB server boot?
The boot measures 20 inches wide, 15.86 inches in length/depth, and 12.11 inches high, with a 13 inch extension length on the rails. The 20 inch width is the figure to check first against your rack opening before you plan the mount.
3) Is the Eaton B-Line server boot UL Listed for use in a data room or electrical space?
UL Listed, yes. That is the rating an institutional or MRO specifier usually needs to see before a rack accessory goes into a data closet or electrical room submittal package.
4) What model number do I order for the 13 inch extension server boot in flat black?
Order model SBSBE0613FB. That single part number covers the flat black powder coat, server boot with extension rails configuration at the 13 inch extension length, so there are no separate finish or length options to specify.
5) How much does the B-Line SBSBE0613FB weigh, and is it a one-person install?
24.55 lb as shipped. That is a comfortable one-person lift, though on a live rack most installers want a second set of hands to hold the boot while the extension rails are fastened.
6) Will the flat black finish on the SBSBE0613FB match the rest of my black B-Line rack?
The boot is finished in flat black powder coat on steel, which is the standard black used across the Eaton B-Line series open frame racks, so it reads as a match rather than a mismatched accessory. Powder coat over steel also holds up better than paint in a room where gear gets slid in and out repeatedly.
