The kit ships in mounting channels, so the spools come pre-assembled to channel that fastens into the vertical manager rather than being screwed on one spool at a time. A back cover is an available option if you want the rear of the channel closed off; it is a separate item, not part of the kit.

Each spool assembly is 8 inches deep and 3.5 inches wide, over a 96 inch height. Plan for that 8 inch projection into the cable channel when you are figuring bend radius and how much slack you can store, and the 3.5 inch width against the inside face of the manager.

Mixed construction: the channel and frame are steel with a flat black powder coat, and the spools themselves are black plastic. That flat black matches Eaton B-Line black open frame racks and managers, so it blends into an existing black rack line-up in a data room.
