B-LINE SB7659X5TG – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the B-Line SB7659X5TG runway to fiber duct support actually do?
It is a steel bracket that ties a 5 inch cable runway to fiber duct in an open frame rack installation, so the duct is carried off the runway rather than hung separately. Mounting hardware comes with the bracket, so you are not sourcing fasteners separately.
2) Will this bracket work with a 5 inch wide cable runway?
Yes, the SB7659X5TG is the 5 inch version of the runway to fiber duct support. If your runway stringer is a different width, this is the wrong size bracket and you want the matching width in the same B-Line support family.
3) Do I need to buy separate mounting hardware for the B-Line SB7659X5TG?
No. Bracket support and hardware ship with the part, so the assembly is complete out of the box for attaching the fiber duct to the runway.
4) What finish is the B-Line runway to fiber duct support, and will it match my existing rack?
Telco gray powder coat over steel, which is the standard finish on Eaton B-Line open frame racks and runway. If your data center or telecom room is already built out in B-Line telco gray, this bracket blends in with the runway and rack you have.
5) Is the B-Line SB7659X5TG a rack mount accessory or a runway accessory?
It belongs to the runway side of the installation. The part connects cable runway to fiber duct in open frame rack rooms; it is not a rack-unit accessory and does not occupy RU space in the rack itself.
