B-Line Eaton series panels and panel accessories, 1, White powder coated finish, Enclosure used to mount light-weight components, Steel, Fits enclosu

The N1212PP panel is sized for 12 inch by 12 inch enclosures. The panel itself measures 12 in width by 12 in height with a 10.25 in length/depth dimension, so it sits inside the box rather than spanning the full opening. If your box is a 12x16, 16x16 or larger, this panel is undersized for it.

No. The N1212PP is intended for mounting light-weight components only. It's a flat perforated steel panel weighing 1.67 lb, so heavy gear like a sizeable transformer or a large contactor block should go on a solid subpanel rated for that load instead of a perforated light-duty panel.

It is a NEMA 1 rated accessory, which is indoor, general purpose only, no protection against water. For a wet, outdoor, or hosedown location you want the panel matched to a NEMA 3R, 4 or 4X enclosure, not this one. The white powder coated steel finish here is for clean indoor control cabinets.

The perforated pattern lets you screw or clip components anywhere on the face without drilling and tapping, which is why it suits low-weight relays, terminal blocks and small devices being reconfigured often. A solid subpanel is the better pick when you need to drill a specific hole pattern for heavier apparatus or want a continuous ground surface. This is the perforated version for 12x12 boxes.

Yes, the panel is certified to CSA C22.2, so it can be specified on Canadian installations alongside a NEMA 1 enclosure.

It ships as steel with a white powder coated finish, so the face is insulated where the paint is intact. If you are relying on the panel for bonding, land your ground on bare metal at a hardware point or run a dedicated bonding jumper rather than assuming the painted surface makes contact.
