B-LINE SB78712FB – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the B-Line SB78712FB runway dropout kit actually do on a cable runway?
It gives cables a curved exit path off the runway. The SB78712FB is a universal drop-out that provides a smooth radius for cable exit, so copper and fiber bend over a formed surface instead of a sharp ladder rail edge as they drop down to a rack or cabinet.
2) Do I need a separate left-hand and right-hand version of this cable runway dropout?
No. It is a universal drop-out, so one part number covers the application rather than splitting into handed versions. Order the quantity of exit points you have.
3) Is the SB78712FB a single piece or a kit with mounting hardware?
SB78712FB is sold as a runway dropout kit, a single model with no size or finish options to choose. Order by that part number and you get one universal drop-out in flat black.
