B-LINE SB2261808YZ – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the SB2261808YZ fit 8 inch wide cable runway?
Yes. SB2261808YZ is the 8 inch runway support, so it is sized for 8 inch wide cable runway. If your runway is a different width, you need the matching width in the series instead, since the bracket width has to match the runway it carries.
2) Is a yellow zinc finished steel runway support suitable for outdoor or damp locations?
Yellow zinc plating over ASTM A36 structural steel is an indoor finish. It suits conditioned spaces like telecom closets, equipment rooms, and data centers. For exterior, wash-down, or corrosive environments, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless support instead.
3) Does the B-Line SB2261808YZ come with mounting hardware or runway clamps?
The part is the steel support bracket itself, model SB2261808YZ. Anchors, bolts, or threaded rod for attaching it to the structure, and the hardware that ties the runway stringer to the bracket, are ordered separately to suit the base material you are fastening into.
