B-LINE SB212615YZ – Frequently Asked Questions
1) How far off the wall does this B-Line standoff bracket hold the cable runway?
Depth on the SB212615YZ is 1.5 inches, so it is a tight wall standoff rather than a deep offset. Overall height of the bracket is 17 inches. If you need cable to pass behind the runway, this is not the part for it.
2) Is the yellow zinc dichromate finish on this B-Line runway support OK for indoor equipment rooms?
Yellow zinc dichromate over steel is a plated corrosion-resistant finish intended for dry indoor use, which is where cable runway standoffs normally live (equipment rooms, MDF/IDF closets, data centers). For wet or outdoor exposure you want a hot dip galvanized or stainless support instead.
3) Does the B-Line SB212615YZ come with mounting hardware or anchors?
What you are ordering is the steel standoff support bracket itself. Wall anchors and the runway-to-bracket fasteners are selected for your substrate and runway and ordered separately.
4) What is the exact part number to order for the 15 inch yellow zinc B-Line runway standoff?
Order Eaton B-Line part number SB212615YZ. That is the 15 inch runway width standoff support in yellow zinc dichromate steel, one model with no options to specify.
5) How much does the B-Line SB212615YZ weigh, and can one person hang it?
It weighs 10.2 lb. That is a one-person lift, but the wall anchors have to carry that 10.2 lb plus the runway and cable load, so size the anchors to the structure (concrete, CMU, or steel stud backing) rather than to the bracket weight alone.
