B-Line Eaton series runway support, Yellow zinc dichromate, Steel, 18" runway width, Runway standoff support

The bracket's depth dimension is 1.5 inches, so it is a close-to-wall standoff rather than a deep cantilever. Overall it measures 20 inches in height by 18 inches wide by 1.5 inches deep. Plan your cable bend radius and any conduit or J-hooks behind the runway around that 1.5 inch profile.

Yellow zinc dichromate is a plated finish on steel intended for indoor, dry environments such as telecom rooms, data centers, and electrical rooms. For wet, corrosive, or exterior runs, specify a hot dip galvanized or stainless runway support instead. The SB212618YZ is steel with the yellow zinc dichromate finish.

Order the anchors separately. A runway standoff support is the steel bracket itself; the wall anchors suited to your substrate (concrete, CMU, or steel stud backing) and the runway-to-bracket splice or butt-splice hardware are separate line items. Confirm your anchor selection against the wall type before the install day.

Wall standoffs like the 18 inch SB212618YZ carry the runway off a wall surface, which suits perimeter runs in a telecom room where you want the tray tight to the wall (1.5 inch depth here) and no ceiling penetrations. Threaded rod and trapeze drops are the choice for runway crossing open floor area or where the wall cannot take the load. Many rooms use both: standoffs along the walls, rod drops for the center aisle over the racks.

Quote Eaton B-Line part number SB212618YZ. The SB2126 series designation with the 18 covers the 18 inch runway width and the YZ suffix is the yellow zinc dichromate finish.

Each bracket weighs 11.2 lb, so it is a one-person lift but worth setting on anchors rather than holding overhead by hand. At 20 inches tall the mounting pattern spans enough height that you want both anchor points landed in structure or properly rated masonry anchors before loading the runway.
