You pick that based on your wall substrate (concrete anchors, toggles into block, or through-bolts into structural steel or backing), since the correct anchor depends on the building, not the bracket.

It is ASTM A569 steel with a flat black powder coat, formed from 6 gauge material. Powder coat, not wet paint, so it handles handling and rack-room abuse better than a sprayed finish. The flat black also matches typical black cable runway and ladder rack so the wall support does not stand out.

The included hardware is 5/16-18, which is the standard thread B-Line runway hardware uses. If you are adding runway splices or additional supports later, spec 5/16-18 hardware so everything on the run stays interchangeable and one wrench size covers the job.

A wall angle bracket carries the runway off the wall where the run terminates at or travels along a wall, and it is the simplest support when a wall is available. Threaded rod drops from the deck are what you use mid-room where there is no wall to land on, or where the runway has to hang below an obstruction. Most rooms use both: wall angles at the entry and terminations, rod drops across open spans.

The kit weighs 4.5 lb complete with bracket and hardware. One tech can set and anchor it from a ladder without a helper, though the runway section itself usually takes two hands once it is being laid in.
