The B333-1GRN is a slotted three hole u-support, a U-shaped steel fitting 7.5 inches long, 1.62 inches wide and 1.85 inches high. The three holes are slots rather than round holes, so bolts can slide along them for adjustment. It is used to support or bridge across strut channel, with the U shape straddling the member and the slotted legs bolted off.

Each slot measures 9/16 inch by 1-1/2 inch. The 9/16 inch width clears a 1/2 inch strut bolt or threaded rod, and the 1-1/2 inch length gives you roughly an inch of slide for lining up hole patterns that do not fall exactly on center.

Neither. It is a U-shaped support with slotted holes, not a flat splice plate and not an angle bracket. If you need a straight in-line splice between two lengths of channel, a flat three hole flat plate fitting is the right part instead. The B333-1GRN is sold as the steel fitting alone. Strut nuts, bolts and any washers for the 9/16 inch slots are ordered separately, so add them to the same order if you are not pulling them from stock.

DURA GREEN is Eaton B-Line's green coating over the steel fitting, applied as a corrosion-resistant finish rather than plain plated steel. It also makes the part visually identifiable on a job where several fitting finishes are running side by side, which matters to a facility crew standardizing hardware across a building.
