B-Line Eaton series strut pipe clamps and accessories, 2.25" height, 1.52" length, 1.25" width, 600 lbs, Dampens vibration noise, Vibra-clamp, Yellow

The Eaton B-Line BVT112YZN is a cushioned strut clamp built to dampen vibration noise, so pipe or conduit carrying pump, compressor, or flow-induced vibration doesn't transmit that noise into the strut and the building structure. A plain steel strut clamp holds the pipe just as firmly but couples the vibration straight into the channel. Use the Vibra-clamp on mechanical room risers, pump discharge lines, and anywhere a run passes near occupied space.

600 lbs load capacity. That covers filled pipe on typical horizontal and vertical strut runs, but it is the clamp rating only. Your actual support spacing is still governed by the strut channel, the threaded rod or wall anchor behind it, and your code-required hanger spacing for the pipe material and size.

Yellow zinc chromate is a plated finish meant for dry indoor and protected service, mechanical rooms, ceilings, and interior conduit runs. It is not a hot-dip galvanized or stainless finish, so for exterior, roof, wash-down, or corrosive environments specify a clamp in a finish rated for that exposure instead.

It is a strut-mounted clamp, designed to attach to standard B-Line strut channel rather than to threaded rod or a bare surface. You still need the channel itself and the strut nut and bolt for the mounting, plus whatever rod, anchors, or brackets carry the channel. Order those separately as part of the support assembly.

Order Eaton B-Line part number BVT112YZN. The YZN suffix is the yellow zinc chromate finish, so if you are standardizing a building on one clamp, that is the number to hold on your MRO list for matching future runs.
