2) Will the Baldwin 5101 lever work on a 1-3/8 inch interior door?
Yes. The 5101 lever covers doors from 1-3/8 inch up to 1-3/4 inch thick, so it handles both the older 1-3/8 inch interior slab and the standard 1-3/4 inch door.
3) Do I need to specify left or right hand when ordering the Baldwin 5101 lever?
The lever itself is reversible, so it is not handed in the sense of needing a hand-specific part. Handing only comes into play on the ordering option: you can buy a Pair, a Pair (PINNED), or a single Half Pair called out as Left Hand or Right Hand. If you only need one side of the door dressed, pick the half pair matching the side you are replacing.
4) Is the Baldwin 5101 lever rated for a commercial building or is it a residential handle?
The 5101 is a residential product from Baldwin's Estate Series. 5) What kind of lock does the Baldwin 5101 lever go on?
