Baldwin classifies the Estate 2280 as residential hardware. For a house, a boutique storefront, or a light-traffic office door it is fine. For a school corridor, a hospital, or any opening that has to meet a commercial durability or code spec, specify a plate that carries that rating instead. Nothing about the 2280 is stated to meet one.
