Baldwin Estate 5013 Knob w/ 5016 Rose

Three configurations are offered. A Pair gives you knobs and roses for both faces of the door. A Half Pair is a single knob and rose for one face only, which is what you order when you are replacing one damaged side or dressing a door that only needs an interior knob. Pair (PINNED) is a pair supplied with the knob pinned to the spindle rather than left loose. Pick Half Pair only if you already have the matching opposite side on the door.

Yes. The 5013 knob with 5016 rose is built for the 2.125 inch standard door preparation, so a door already bored with a 2-1/8 inch cross bore takes it without new prep work.

The 5013 knob paired with roses is offered as a privacy set, meant to both close and secure a door such as a bath or bedroom. Baldwin's privacy sets include everything needed to install the lock onto the door, so you are not sourcing the latch separately.

Baldwin classifies the Estate 5013 as residential hardware. It is used in multifamily and mixed-use, retail, and public or government building settings where the look matters, but for a high-cycle commercial opening you want a Grade 1 or Grade 2 commercial cylindrical lockset instead of a residential privacy set.

Fourteen finishes: Polished Brass (003), Non-Lacquered Brass (031), Vintage Brass (033), Satin Brass (044), Satin Brass and Black (050), Polished Nickel (055), Satin Nickel (056), Satin Brass and Brown (060), Graphite Nickel (076), Oil Rubbed Bronze (102), Venetian Bronze (112/11P), Satin Black (190), Polished Chrome (260), and Distressed Oil Rubbed Bronze (402). For matching existing Baldwin, order by the numeric code, not the name. Note that 031 Non-Lacquered Brass is a living finish and will patina over time, while 003 Polished Brass is lacquered and holds its color.

The rose is included. The set is the Estate 5013 knob paired with the 5016 rose, sold together in the Type you choose. You are not ordering roses as a separate line.

That is exactly the application. As a privacy set it latches and secures from inside without a key cylinder, which suits bedrooms and baths. If the door needs key control, for a unit entry or an office, a privacy set is the wrong function and you want a keyed entry trim instead.

Yes, Baldwin Estate hardware is built as solid brass, forged rather than cast pot metal, which is why the finishes include unlacquered and living brass options. The Matte Black offering, for example, is a deep solid black applied over sanded brass.

The 5013 is part of Baldwin's Estate Series, and the rose-mounted design is offered as either a knob or a lever set on the same rose, so you can run knobs on some openings and levers on others within a building and keep the trim consistent. Match the finish code across both.
