The 36-574 is the arbor only, the mandrel that holds a bi-metal hole saw and carries the pilot drill. The saw cup itself is a separate purchase. You thread your hole saw onto the arbor, then chuck the arbor's 3/8 inch shank into the drill.
2) Will the IDEAL 36-574 hole saw arbor fit my drill chuck?
It has a 3/8 inch shank, so it drops into any standard 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch keyed or keyless drill chuck. On a 1/2 inch chuck the jaws simply close down on the smaller shank.
3) Can the pilot drill bit be replaced on the IDEAL 36-574 arbor, or do I throw out the whole arbor when it dulls?
The pilot drill is replaceable. A flat head set screw in the arbor body clamps the pilot bit, so back the screw off, pull the dull bit, and drop a new one in. The arbor body is steel.

No. It is a quick change design, so saw cups come off and go on by hand with no wrench or hex key. That matters on an electrical rough-in where you are stepping between knockout sizes on the same run.
