Bobrick 1000070 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is the Bobrick B-1000070 a whole partition or just a replacement piece?
Just the piece. The B-1000070 is a single stainless steel post to ceiling component, sold as a repair part, so it does not include panels, doors, pilasters or the rest of a partition assembly. If you are replacing a full stall you need the partition system itself, not this part.
2) What is the Bobrick B-1000070 post to ceiling part used for?
The B-1000070 is a stainless steel post to ceiling component from Bobrick, a replacement part for washroom partition hardware rather than a complete fixture. It is the piece that ties a pilaster or post up to the ceiling, and it is ordered as a repair part when the original bracket or post connection is damaged or missing.
3) How do I order the correct Bobrick ceiling post part number?
Order it by the Bobrick model number 1000070, sold under part designation B-1000070. There is one configuration, so there is no finish, length or handing option to specify when you place the order.
4) Is the Bobrick B-1000070 post to ceiling suitable for a high humidity restroom?
Stainless steel construction is the reason this part holds up in a wet, high traffic public washroom. Corrosion resistance is the main argument for specifying it over a plated or painted bracket in gang restrooms, locker rooms and pool facilities.
