Bobrick 1000351 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What does the Bobrick 1000351 L-bracket actually attach?
It's the bracket that ties an external (outer) panel to a stile on a Bobrick toilet partition. If a panel is pulling loose from the pilaster on an existing stall, this is the replacement piece for that connection, not a door or hinge part.
2) Can I standardize on this bracket across a building with mixed Bobrick partition lines?
For a facility running any mix of TrimLine 1030/2030, Designer 1040/2040, Accent 1530, Classic 1540.64, Metro 1550.64, DuraLine 1080/2080 and 1180/2180, or Sierra 1090, this one bracket covers the panel-to-stile joint across all of them, so it's a reasonable single stocked spare for MRO carts.
3) Is this L-bracket stainless steel and will it hold up in a high-traffic restroom?
Yes, it's 18-8 type-304 heavy-gauge stainless steel with a satin finish, which is what you want in a wet, frequently cleaned public restroom. Type 304 resists the corrosion you get from urine, moisture and standard restroom cleaners, so it suits schools, stadiums and other high-use facilities.
4) Do I need a different bracket for panel-to-wall instead of panel-to-stile?
Yes. The 1000351 is specifically the panel-to-stile L-bracket. A panel-to-wall connection uses a different Bobrick bracket, so order by the joint you are fixing rather than assuming one bracket covers both.
5) Will the satin bracket match the hardware already on my Bobrick stalls?
The only finish offered is satin, which is the standard finish Bobrick uses on its stainless partition brackets, so it matches existing satin stainless stile and panel hardware on the series listed. It will not blend with chrome-polished or powder-coated colored hardware.
