Bobrick 1002484 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Bobrick B-1002484 driver kit used for?
It's a driver kit for the Torx tamper-resistant screws Bobrick uses on washroom accessories. If your dispensers, grab bars or partitions were fastened with Torx heads, this is the tool that opens and re-secures them without chewing up the fastener.
2) Is the B-1002484 a spare part or a tool for maintenance staff?
Bobrick catalogs the B-1002484 as a replacement part, but functionally it is a service tool. Facilities and janitorial crews keep one on the cart so restroom dispensers secured with Torx fasteners can be refilled or removed without a trip back to the shop.
3) Does the Bobrick B-1002484 come as a kit or a single bit?
It ships as a kit under the single model number 1002484, so there's nothing to configure when you order. One part number covers it.
