Bobrick 1002703 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Bobrick 1002703 floor anchor used for?
It's a Bobrick factory repair part, an SPC floor anchor used as mounting hardware for Bobrick washroom products. You'd order it when the original floor anchor is damaged, corroded, or missing and the unit needs to be re-secured to the floor rather than replaced.
2) Is the Bobrick B-1002703 a complete unit or just a replacement part?
Just the part. The B-1002703 is a single SPC floor anchor sold as a Bobrick repair component, not an assembly or a finished washroom fixture. Any fasteners, brackets, or panel hardware needed to complete the installation are separate.
3) Will a generic hardware store anchor work instead of the Bobrick 1002703?
Not reliably. The 1002703 is Bobrick's own SPC floor anchor, dimensioned to the Bobrick washroom product it supports. A substitute anchor may not line up with the existing floor prep or the unit's mounting points, which is why the factory part is specified for the repair.
4) Do I need to order a specific version of the Bobrick 1002703 floor anchor?
No options to pick. The anchor is sold under the single model designation 1002703, so there is no finish, size, or handing choice to specify on the order.
