1) What does the Bobrick B-24-17 BobKey actually open?
The BobKey unlocks Bobrick liquid soap dispensers and toilet paper dispensers that don't have a tumbler lock. Bobrick made it for the Contura and Classic liquid soap dispensers and the Matrix and Classic toilet tissue dispensers. If the dispenser on your wall takes a keyed tumbler cylinder, this isn't the key for it.
2) My Bobrick soap dispenser has a keyed lock cylinder, will the B-24-17 BobKey open it?
No. The BobKey is for Bobrick dispensers that do not have a tumbler lock. A dispenser fitted with a tumbler cylinder needs the cylinder key for that lock, not this one. Check the face of the unit: if there's a round keyway, the BobKey won't turn it.
3) We have a mix of Bobrick Classic and Matrix dispensers across a building, do we need different keys?
