Bobrick 824-443 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What comes in the Bobrick B-824-443 hardware packet?
The B-824-443 packet contains a washer, a counter gasket, a mounting nut, a Bobkey, and a stem mounting nut. It is the mounting hardware set only, not a dispenser or valve, so it is what you order when the original install hardware is lost, damaged, or left behind after a countertop replacement.
2) I have a countertop-mounted Bobrick dispenser leaking around the deck. Will this packet fix it?
The seal at the deck is the counter gasket, and the B-824-443 packet includes that gasket along with the washer and mounting nut that clamp it down. Weeping around a countertop-mounted Bobrick unit usually traces to a flattened or missing gasket or a loose mounting nut, and this packet replaces both parts of that joint. It also includes the stem mounting nut and the Bobkey used to tighten and service the unit.
3) Is B-824-443 a replacement part or a complete washroom accessory?
It is a replacement parts packet, not a finished fixture. Bobrick sells it as an installation hardware packet for washroom accessories, so a maintenance tech uses it to remount or reseal an existing unit rather than to add a new one to the restroom.
4) What is the Bobkey included with the Bobrick B-824-443 packet for?
The Bobkey is Bobrick's proprietary service key, included in the B-824-443 packet so the person mounting or servicing the unit can open and secure it. If your building's keys have gone missing along with the rest of the mounting hardware, the packet covers both in one order.
5) How is the Bobrick B-824-443 hardware packet ordered, and is there more than one version?
There is a single model, 824-443, ordered under Bobrick part number B-824-443. No finish, size, or handing choice applies, so one line item covers it.
