Bobrick 3500x2-177 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What comes in the Bobrick B-3500x2-177 coin plate kit?
The kit ships with two coin plates, one 50 cent napkin plate and one 50 cent tampon plate, plus an Allen wrench, a screw, and an instruction sheet. So you get both vend plates for a dual dispenser in one order, along with the wrench needed to open the unit and make the swap.
2) Is this a whole napkin/tampon dispenser or just the coin plates?
Just the vend price parts. This is a coin plate kit, a service part for an existing Bobrick napkin/tampon vendor, not the cabinet itself. If you need the complete unit, order the vendor and specify the coin plate price on it.
3) Do I need one kit per dispenser or one per product column?
One kit covers one dual-column vendor. Because it includes a 50 cent napkin plate and a 50 cent tampon plate together, both columns in a single machine are handled by one kit. Converting a bank of restrooms means ordering one kit per vendor.
4) Do I need any tools to install the Bobrick 50 cent coin plates?
No separate tooling is required for the plate itself. The 3500x2-177 kit comes with the Allen wrench and the mounting screw, and the coin plates are treated as fastener-type replacement parts, so a maintenance tech can do the swap on site.
5) Can I order the 50 cent napkin plate on its own without the tampon plate?
Not through this kit. Model 3500x2-177 is sold as a single configuration that pairs both 50 cent plates together, so you receive the napkin and tampon plates as one unit whether or not you use both.
