Bobrick B-5221 Surface-Mounted Seat-Cover Dispenser

The B-5221 measures 16-1/8 inches wide, 11-1/2 inches high and 2-1/2 inches deep (410 x 290 x 65mm). Because it loads from the bottom, you also need at least 5 inches (125mm) of clear space between the bottom of the dispenser and the top of anything projecting below it, like a grab bar, toilet tank or shelf. Plan the mounting height around that gap or your housekeeping staff will not be able to refill it.

It is a surface-mounted unit, so no wall cavity or rough-in opening is needed. With a depth of about 2-1/2 inches it projects into the stall, which matters in tight compartments and next to door swings. If you need a flush face in a high-traffic restroom, a recessed seat-cover dispenser is the right type instead.

Capacity is 250 seat covers, and it takes either single-fold or half-fold stock. You can also drop in one full box. For a property manager standardizing supply across a building, that means you are not locked into one fold type when you buy paper.

The body is ABS plastic in grey. ABS is the common choice for high-traffic public washrooms because it does not rust or show water spotting the way a bare metal cabinet can. If your facility spec calls for stainless steel in the restroom accessory package, this plastic unit will not match that finish.

Refilling is from the bottom of the unit, not through a front door. That keeps the face clean and tamper resistant, but it drives the install: you must leave 5 inches (125mm) clear under the dispenser so the attendant can get the stack up into it. Mounting it directly on top of a sanitary napkin disposal or a low partition rail will make it unserviceable.

One version only, the grey ABS plastic unit. There is no stainless or painted option under this model number, so if you are matching a stainless washroom accessory set across a facility you will want a different Bobrick seat-cover dispenser model.
