Bobrick 81212 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Bobrick B-81212 soap cartridge fit my Bobrick B-830 lavatory-mounted dispenser?
Yes. The B-81212 SureFlo pink lotion cartridge is formulated specifically for Bobrick B-830 Series lavatory-mounted soap dispenser systems, so it drops straight into that multi-feed system. It is a sealed liquid soap cartridge, not a bulk refill, so it is not intended to be poured into a top-fill or manual pump dispenser.
2) Is the B-81212 a liquid soap or a foam soap cartridge?
Liquid. The B-81212 is a pink lotion liquid soap cartridge. If your Bobrick system is set up to dispense foam, this is the wrong cartridge for it, you want the foam-formulated SureFlo cartridge instead.
3) How many handwashes do you get out of a 12 liter SureFlo soap cartridge?
About 13,000 handwashes per 12 liter cartridge. For a facility manager budgeting refills, that is the number to divide your daily traffic into: a restroom running 200 washes a day works out to roughly one cartridge every two months per dispensing point.
4) Do I need to buy a new dispenser, or just the soap cartridge?
Just the cartridge. The B-81212 is the soap refill for an already-installed B-830 Series lavatory-mounted system, the pump, spout and valve stay in place. If you are outfitting a new lavatory deck you need the B-830 dispenser system itself, and this cartridge as the consumable that feeds it.
5) Can one B-81212 cartridge feed several sinks in a multi-station restroom?
That is what the system is built for. The B-830 Series it feeds is a multi-feed soap dispensing system, so a single 12 liter cartridge supplies multiple lavatory-mounted spouts from one reservoir rather than one cartridge per sink. For a gang restroom in a school or airport that means one refill trip instead of six.
