Fine thread. The JG8HC361 is a 1/2-20 hex cap screw, 20 threads per inch, which is UNF rather than the more common 1/2-13 UNC. It will only thread into a 1/2-20 nut or tapped hole, so don't mix it with coarse 1/2-13 hardware on the same assembly.
2) How strong is a Grade 8 hex bolt compared to Grade 5?
The Metallics Grade 8 hex cap screw is rated 150,000 psi minimum tensile and 130,000 psi minimum yield, with a hardness of Rockwell C33-39. 3) Are these zinc plated Grade 8 bolts suitable for outdoor or wet locations?
