The Boshart BPF-C is a no-lead brass push-fit coupling built for potable water and hydronic heating rough-in work, available across a size range from 3/8" (0.5" O.D.) up to 1" (1.125" O.D.) tube, with 1/2" and 3/4" sizes also available in the family. This push-fit fitting connects copper, CPVC and PEX pipe in any combination without soldering, flux, clamps, unions or glue, making it a fast, code-friendly solution for new residential and commercial construction as well as repair work. It is approved for installation underground and behind walls, with or without access panels, and is especially useful for wet, hazardous or dry repairs on existing plumbing systems where draining the line for soldering is impractical.
