This mold is sized for 4/0 AWG copper stranded conductors and bus bars measuring 1/4" x 1-1/2" and wider, using a 150 weld metal charge to produce a low-resistance, corrosion-resistant connection. It is UL Listed, making it suitable for demanding grounding, bonding, and bus bar tap applications in commercial, industrial, and utility electrical systems. Exothermic welded connections resist loosening, corrosion, and thermal cycling far better than mechanical clamps, giving installers a permanent bond that meets code requirements for long-term grounding and bonding performance.
