Yes. The KLM series is rated 600 Vac and 600 Vdc, so it works in both AC and DC power distribution. The interrupting capacity differs by circuit type: 100 kAIC at 600 Vac and 50 kAIC at 600 Vdc. On a DC application, size your available fault current against the 50 kAIC figure, not the AC number.
2) Is the KLM fuse fast-acting or time-delay, and does that matter for motor loads?
