1) Will an Intermatic K4023C photocontrol work on a 277V lighting circuit?
Yes. The K4023C button photocontrol is rated 208-277 VAC, 50/60 Hz, so it covers 208V, 240V and 277V circuits, which is the range you see on commercial wall packs, parking lot poles and area lighting fed from a 480/277 or 208 three phase system. It is not a 120V control, so don't put it on a 120V post lamp circuit.
