Cahaba CAVWES60IG – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will a Cahaba Wesley 60 in. double vanity fit a standard 60 inch bathroom alcove?
The cabinet is a full 60 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 34-1/2 inches high, with a matching 3 inch backsplash on top. Because it measures the full 60 inches, you need a clear opening slightly wider than 60 inches to slide it in; a wall-to-wall 60 inch alcove leaves no tolerance. It installs as a freestanding cabinet, not wall hung.
2) Where does the drain line up on the Cahaba Wesley 60 inch vanity, and will it clear my existing rough-in?
Both ceramic basins drain at the rear of the bowl, which keeps the P-trap close to the wall and generally suits a standard wall rough-in. The bowls are 22 inches wide, 14.8 inches long and 7.5 inches deep, so plan drain and supply stub-outs to clear that bowl depth below the 1.13 inch thick engineered stone top. The two soft-closing drawers are built around the plumbing.
3) Does the Cahaba Wesley 60 vanity come with the top and sinks, or do I buy those separately?
Top and bowls are included. The Wesley 60 ships with an engineered stone vanity top in Yves White, two rectangular undermount ceramic basins already set, and a matching 3 inch backsplash. The cabinet arrives pre-assembled. What you still have to buy: two widespread faucets, drains/tailpieces and traps, plus any anchors or cleats for securing the cabinet, since mounting hardware is not supplied.
4) How much does the Cahaba Wesley 60 inch double vanity weigh, and is it a one-person install?
It ships at 282.2 lbs. That is a two to three person set, mostly because of the engineered stone top and two ceramic bowls. For a multi-unit or upper-floor job, plan on stair handling or a lift, and set the cabinet before you make up the traps.
5) What storage does the Cahaba Wesley 60 double vanity actually have?
Storage is two large-capacity soft-closing drawers notched to clear the plumbing, plus one open shelf below. No enclosed door cabinet and no adjustable shelving, so tall bottles live on the open shelf. The drawers run on soft-close hardware with oversized brushed nickel pulls against the iron gray cabinet.
6) Is the Cahaba Wesley 60 vanity suitable for a rental or hotel bathroom?
It is a wood-construction freestanding cabinet with an engineered stone top and undermount ceramic bowls, which holds up better to daily wipe-down than a cultured marble integral top. For fleet work the two things to note: it is a 60 inch two-bowl footprint, so it only standardizes into baths with that run of wall, and mounting hardware is not in the box, so spec your own anchors for stud or block walls.
7) What is the manufacturer part number and finish for the Wesley 60 double vanity?
Cahaba Wesley collection, MFG SKU CAVWES60IG, iron gray cabinet with brushed nickel hardware and a Yves White engineered stone top. It is made in Vietnam. Only the iron gray finish is offered under this model number.
