The Cal-Royal CAL09 is a Grade 1 Extra Heavy Duty Institution Lock from the Calypso Series, engineered with a dead locking latch bolt operated by key in lever from either side, with both levers always fixed. Built to ANSI F87 function, this cylindrical lockset fits doors from 1-3/8" to 2" thickness and features a 2-3/4" standard backset with optional 2-1/8", 3-3/4", and 5" backsets available. Constructed with a solid brass 1/2" throw latch bolt that is UL Listed and reversible for RH or LH applications, this lock meets or exceeds BHMA/ANSI A156.2 Series 4000, Grade 1 requirements for demanding institutional environments.
