The Church 585EC is an elongated seat sized 18.875 inches long by 14.125 inches wide, with a 5.5 inch bolt spread. That 5.5 inch spread is the standard two-bolt spacing on residential and commercial toilets, so it drops onto most elongated bowls. Measure your bowl first: from the center of the seat bolt holes to the front rim, an elongated bowl runs about 18-1/2 inches and a round bowl about 16-1/2. If yours is the shorter round bowl, the 585EC will overhang and you want a round-front seat instead.

If what is on the bowl now is an elongated seat mounted on two bolts at 5.5 inch centers, the 585EC replaces it directly. Where it will not swap in is a toilet with a proprietary or four-bolt seat mount, or a bowl with the hinge holes set at anything other than the 5.5 inch spread, and it is not a substitute for a round-front seat.
