Yes. The LPC190-HD drops into the standard '161' cylindrical prep with a 2-3/4 inch backset, so on a door already bored for a commercial cylindrical lockset there's no new door machining. Strike side is an ASA strike, which is the standard commercial frame prep, so the frame usually carries over too. What changes is that you now have to get 24V power to the door, which the mechanical lock it replaces never needed.
2) What happens to the LPC190-HD lock if the power goes out?
It stays locked. The LPC190-HD is fail-secure, so on power loss the latch drops back into the strike and the door secures. Free egress from the inside is still there mechanically, since this is a passage function lock, but a power drop kills the electronic unlock. If your application needs the door to unlock when power is lost, this is the wrong device for that opening.
3) How far can I run wire to a Command Access LPC190 motorized latch retraction lock?
