The Corbin Russwin ED4400 is a heavy-duty surface vertical rod exit device engineered for narrow stile full glass, aluminum, and metal doors in high-use and high-abuse commercial environments. Part of the ED4000 Series, this 36" device accommodates doors from 30" to 36" (762mm–914mm) and features a minimum 2" (51mm) stile width requirement, making it ideal for demanding narrow stile applications. Standard door thickness is 1-3/4" (44mm), with optional configurations available for 2" (51mm) and 2-1/4" (57mm) doors. The device meets ANSI A156.3 Type 4 Grade 1 requirements, satisfies UL/cUL safety requirements per UL 305, and has been approved by the California State Fire Marshal pursuant to section 13144.1 of the California Health and Safety Code.
