The Corbin Russwin ED5400 W048 is a professional-grade surface vertical rod exit device from the ED5000 Series, engineered for safe and reliable egress on wide stile commercial doors. The 48" (1219mm) bar accommodates doors ranging from 36" to 48" (914mm–1219mm) wide, with a minimum stile width of 4-1/2" (114mm) and a standard door thickness of 1-3/4" (44mm). The device is handed but easily field reversible, and all rods are field-cuttable to size, making it adaptable to a wide range of door configurations including heights up to 8’ standard, with optional heights available. Grade 1 commercial performance is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and rigorous cycle testing across the entire ED5000 Series.
