The Corbin Russwin ED5800 is a Grade 1 concealed vertical rod exit device engineered for wide stile commercial metal doors requiring dependable life-safety egress. Part of the ED5000 Series, this device accommodates a standard 36" (914mm) bar fitting doors from 30" to 36" (762mm–914mm), with optional 24" (610mm) and 48" (1219mm) bar lengths available. Standard door thickness is 1-3/4" (44mm), with optional configurations for 2" (51mm) and 2-1/4" (57mm) doors. The ED5800 requires a minimum stile width of 4-1/2" (114mm) and is designed exclusively for use on metal doors, making it ideal for schools, factories, hotels, theaters, offices, retail complexes, and government buildings.
