Delaney Hardware BD0124 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Is this Delaney pull meant for a sliding barn door or a swinging door?
It is barn door hardware, made for a sliding door slab. On a barn door you need a pull that sits flat and is gripped from the face rather than a knob or lever that projects into the wall the door slides against. A 6-1/2 inch square bar pull does that job. For a swinging passage door you want a latching lever or knob set instead.
2) What finishes does the Delaney 6-1/2 inch square barn door pull come in?
Two finishes: Black (US19) and Oil-Rubbed Bronze (US10B). Both are dark tones, so if you are matching existing barn door track, rollers, or interior lever hardware in a building, pick the one that lines up with the rest of the opening. There is no bright or satin option in this pull.
3) Can I mount this pull on both sides of a barn door?
Each order covers one 6-1/2 inch square pull. Barn doors are usually gripped from the room side only, but if you want a handle on both faces, order two in the same finish. Same applies if you are doing a double barn door opening, budget one per leaf per side.
4) Will this Delaney pull match other Delaney barn door hardware?
It is part of Delaney's Finger Pulls line within their sliding and barn door hardware, and the Black US19 and Oil-Rubbed Bronze US10B finish codes are standard designations, so it will read consistently against other Delaney pieces called out in the same finish. For an exact visual match across a property, keep the finish code the same on every piece you order.
