1) Will the Delta Breez Signature SIG80-110D fit a 4 inch duct, or do I have to run 6 inch?
The SIG80-110D ships with a 6 inch duct collar and includes a 6 inch to 4 inch reducer, so it connects to either. Duct size range on the spec is 4 to 6 inches. Running the full 6 inch is the better choice when you want the fan holding its rated 110 CFM, since the reducer adds resistance; on a short run to an existing 4 inch stack the reducer lets you drop it in without re-ducting the ceiling.
2) Can a Delta Breez SIG80-110D be installed over a tub or inside a shower?
Yes. The SIG80-110D is UL and cUL listed for installation in a tub or shower enclosure, on the condition that the branch circuit feeding it is GFCI protected. It is also UL and cUL listed for ceiling mount. If the circuit in that bathroom is not GFCI protected, that has to be corrected before the fan goes in wet-location.
3) How big a bathroom will an 80/110 CFM Delta Breez Signature fan handle?
The SIG80-110D is rated for spaces up to 110 square feet. The high speed is field-adjustable to either 80 or 110 CFM, so on a small powder room you set it to 80 and on a full bath near the top of that range you set it to 110. For a bathroom larger than 110 square feet, or one with a separate enclosed water closet, you need a higher CFM fan or a second unit.
4) How do I set up a Delta Breez SIG80-110D to run continuously for whole-house or code-required ventilation?
That is what the dual speed does. Low speed is selectable at 0, 30, 50, 60 or 80 CFM, so you set a continuous trickle rate (30 CFM is the usual choice for a bath running around the clock) and the fan steps up to 80 or 110 CFM when the switch is thrown. Setting low speed to 0 turns the continuous function off and gives you a plain single-speed exhaust fan. Fan speed on the spec reads continuous low / full speed.
