1) Will the Delta Breez SIG80-110DLED fit a 4 inch duct or do I have to run 6 inch?
The SIG80-110DLED has a 6 inch duct collar and ships with a 6 inch to 4 inch reducer, so it connects to either 4 inch or 6 inch duct. Run it on 6 inch where you can; at 110 CFM the larger duct keeps static pressure down. The fan also self-compensates motor speed to hold the intended airflow when it sees static pressure.
2) Can this fan be installed directly over a tub or inside a shower enclosure?
Yes. The SIG80-110DLED is UL and cUL listed for installation in a tub or shower enclosure, provided the branch circuit feeding it is GFCI protected. It is also UL and cUL listed for ceiling mount. Wall mounting is not part of that listing.
3) Can this fan run continuously for whole-house or code-required ventilation?
That is what it is built for. The Signature runs a continuous low speed selectable at 0, 30, 50, 60 or 80 CFM, then steps up to 80 or 110 CFM on high. The brushless DC motor is engineered for a minimum 70,000 hours of continuous run time, and at under 0.3 sones on the low setting occupants generally do not notice it is on.
4) Do I need a separate dimmer switch for the LED light on the SIG80-110DLED?
