Deltana 88MR-26 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Deltana 88MR match other Deltana bath accessories in the same bathroom?
It is part of the Deltana 88 Series, the contemporary solid brass bath collection, so it suites with the other 88 Series pieces (towel bars, rings, paper holders) in the same finish. If you are outfitting a whole bath and want everything to read as one set, stay inside the 88 Series and order all of it in brushed nickel or all in polished chrome.
2) Is the Deltana 88MR rated for commercial use, or is it a residential accessory?
Residential. Deltana classes the 88MR as a residential bath accessory, so for a hotel, a gym, or a high-traffic public restroom you want a commercial-grade washroom accessory line instead. For apartments, condos, and single-family units it is the right class of product.
3) What is the Deltana 88MR magazine rack made of?
Solid brass, both the material and the substrate. Brass under the plating is what keeps a wall-mounted rack from flexing or corroding in a humid bath, and it is why the finish is a plated coating over metal rather than paint over pot metal.
4) What finishes does the Deltana 88MR come in?
Two: brushed nickel and polished chrome. Brushed nickel is the satin, low-glare option that hides water spots; polished chrome is the bright mirror finish. Pick whichever matches the towel bars and faucet already in the room.
5) Does the Deltana 88MR mount to the wall or sit on the floor?
It is a wall-mounted magazine rack sized at 13 x 9 inches, part of a wall-mounted bath accessory series. Plan on hitting a stud or setting proper anchors in the drywall, since a loaded rack in brass carries real weight on its fasteners.
