Deltana 88TB12 Towel Bar, 12", 88 Series, Solid Brass

The 88TB12 is the 12 inch size in Deltana's 88 Series, with posts that have a 2-5/8 inch base width and a 3-1/8 inch projection off the wall. Plan the mounting area around that base footprint at each end, and allow the 3-1/8 inch stick-out so the bar clears a door swing, vanity edge, or shower glass panel.

A 12 inch bar like the 88TB12 holds a single folded hand towel and suits a narrow wall, the side of a vanity, or a powder room. For a bath towel you want more run: Delaney's Congaree 200 Series and Orca's Camano 37 Series both come as 24 inch sets, and Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder bars are offered in 18, 24 or 30 inch. If you are hanging two towels on one wall, Emtek's Traditional Brass and Sandcast Bronze double towel bars stack two rails on one pair of posts.

The Deltana 88TB12 is a 12-inch solid brass towel bar from the 88 Series, a contemporary bathroom accessory collection. The nearest alternative in brass with a modern profile is the Emtek Modern Brass Towel Bar from Emtek's Modern Brass Bath Hardware line. For a softer, less strictly modern brass look, Emtek's Transitional Brass Towel Bar sits in the Transitional Bath Hardware line. Both are single-bar brass towel bars like the 88TB12.

No. The Deltana 88TB12 is a complete 12-inch towel bar with its posts and rail, with a 2-5/8 inch base width and 3-1/8 inch projection. The Delaney Denali 1100 Series Towel Bar Post Only is a post component, intended to pair with a matching Denali rail rather than to stand in for a finished bar. If you want a complete assembly from Delaney, the Acadia 900 Series Towel Bar Set or the Congaree 200 Series 24-inch Towel Bar Set ship as sets.

Two: Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. Both are on the same solid brass 88 Series body, so if you are matching other bath accessories on a job, pick the finish that lines up with the faucet and door hardware already going in.

Yes. The 88TB12 is classed for commercial use and the body is solid brass rather than plated zinc or tube steel, which is what holds up in high-turnover bathrooms. It is a contemporary, squared-off look, so it standardizes well across a floor of identical units.

The 88TB12 is sold as a complete 12 inch towel bar, each, bar and both posts together. That is different from parts-only items like the Delaney Denali 1100 Series towel bar post only or the Cascade 300 Series square bar only, which are replacement pieces for an existing set.

The Deltana 88TB12 is a single-bar towel bar in the 88 Series. If you need two rails to hang more towels in the same wall width, Emtek offers the Traditional Brass Double Towel Bar in its Traditional Bath Hardware line and the Sandcast Bronze Brass Double Towel Bar in its Sandcast Bronze Bath Hardware line. Both are double-bar units, so plan for greater projection off the wall than a single rail.

The Deltana 88TB12 belongs to the 88 contemporary collection in solid brass. If the design calls for a square section rail, the Delaney Cascade 300 Series Towel Bar Only is offered in a square version. Note that the Cascade item is the bar alone, whereas the Delaney Acadia 900 Series and Orca Hardware sets ship as complete towel bar sets.

The Deltana 88TB12 is a solid brass bar from the 88 Series, rated for commercial use, and comes in Brushed Nickel and Polished Chrome. If the unit finish schedule allows a plainer design, the Sure-Loc Basic Towel Bar is the entry design in Sure-Loc's Basic line, and Sure-Loc's Baden and Boulder bars add styling while covering 18, 24 and 30 inch lengths for larger baths.

They are separate design families, so the styling will not match. The Deltana 88TB12 is part of the 88 Series contemporary bath collection, and matching pieces come from that same series. Orca Hardware offers its own distinct styles - the 36 Series Swirl and 27-Cypress Series sets, the 48-Blakely set, and the Camano 24-inch set - each designed to coordinate within its own series. Use Orca for a full-room change rather than to fill in alongside 88 Series pieces.

Yes, the 88TB12 belongs to Deltana's 88 Bathroom Series, a coordinated contemporary collection of solid brass bath accessories offered in the same finish range. Specify the rest of the washroom set from that same series to keep posts, profiles and plating consistent.

Contemporary. The Deltana 88 Series is a clean, modern collection, so if the room calls for a period or rustic look you would be better off with something like Emtek's Traditional Brass or Sandcast Bronze bath hardware instead.
